Why May is free -- and why an AI is helping run this conference

Hi Reader, One thing I want to be transparent about: I have been using Claude Code -- Anthropic's AI -- to help organize this conference. It has been finding speakers, building the invite list, drafting outreach, and scheduling this email. I am telling you this because it is relevant to what we are doing in Rome. The November 5th event is built around one question: what happens to startup programs when AI can do the work that used to require a team? We are not debating whether this is happening. We are figuring out what it means for the people in this room. Here is where things stand: The date is locked. We will be in Rome on November 5th. The venue is being confirmed. The program is being built. Speakers are being added. This is a wildcard month -- which is exactly why tickets are free right now. If you register in May, you are betting on us early. We are betting on you too. No charge, no obligation, and if you pay later and something does not meet your standard, you get a full refund after the event. Free tickets: luma.com/zvdcs49m Register now and I will keep you updated as the program takes shape. You will hear from me when new speakers are confirmed -- not before. Just asking:)

I ask entrepreneurs and enterprise innovators, "What problem are you solving" and then I help them design and run experiments to prove the problem, test the solution, or grow. Lean Startup is my favorite tool, but I have many to help them minimize waste, reduce risk, go faster, and ultimately succeed faster. Sometimes I bribe founders to do their first 5 REAL ethnographic discovery interviews. I work or have worked with Google, the Department of Health and Human Services, The Build Institute in Detroit, Bunker Labs, 150 Startups (Alberta), KauffmanLabs, TechPeaks, Bizdom, Numa Paris, StartupIstanbul, Startup Chile, TurkishWIN, FastForward Ramallah, AOL, ESPN, NewsCorp, AMEX and others who don't want their competition to know just how valuable it can be to run the types of experiments I teach.
